Surain's Memorial

was held on Sunday, March 17, 2002 in Surain's and Robert's kayak on Puget Sound near Golden Garden Park, Seattle. The weather was glorious (but cold) with the snowcapped Olympic Mountains in full display and the whitecaps on Puget Sound glistening in the sun. A stormy and sunny day, just like Surain would have loved it.
