High Fiber Muesli

Use organic ingredients. Mix together in a bag, then store in airtight container in refrigerator or freezer.

4 lbs. rolled oats

2 lbs oat bran

1 lb granulated lecithin

1 lb ground flaxseed (or buy flaxseed and grind lightly in blender or coffee mill)

½ lb currants

½ lb milk thistle seed* (grind very well in blender or coffee mill)

12 oz Kretchmer's wheat germ

*Milk thistle seed - Silybum marinarum - by Eclectic Institute is available in co-ops and natural food stores.

For your breakfast several times a week:

Soak ½ - ¾ cup of muesli mixture in water or fruit juice for at least half an hour or up to overnight. Mix with yogurt and fresh fruit.
